Wendy Papakostandini is the Director of Operations and Deputy Director of Talent Management for Anzu Partners, where she handles aspects of firm operations and helps grow our industrial, hard science, and software companies by assisting with their talent, operational, and compliance needs.
Prior to her current role, she worked in the Obama Administration, first in the White House in the Office of Management and Administration, and later as Special Advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the Department of Commerce, advocating on behalf of American businesses and workers, and expanding market access opportunities for US firms abroad.
Wendy serves as a Board Member for the Industrial Development Authority in Arlington, VA. She also supports the development efforts of Rise, a non-profit organization that advocates for civil rights and criminal justice reform. Wendy supports their fundraising efforts, which has helped Rise pass 17 laws in 17 months, making it one of the most successful social movements in modern U.S. history.
Ms. Papakostandini is a proud native of Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated with a Joint Honors degree in Political Science and Sociology from McGill University, and is currently an MBA candidate at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
