Wendy Papakostandini is the Principal of Talent for Anzu Partners, where she handles aspects of firm operations and helps grow our industrial, hard science, and software companies by assisting with their talent, operational, and compliance needs. She works closely with portfolio companies, directly helping them build and grow their team and talent operations, recruiting core team members from niche technical hires to VP and Board level.

Prior to her current role, she worked as Special Advisor at the Department of Commerce, where she managed front office operations for the Deputy Secretary, including coordinating across 12 bureaus and managing the Deputy Secretary’s briefing materials to prepare him for daily engagements related to manufacturing, trade, innovation, IP, big data, and privacy. She orchestrated international visits and trade missions, managing over 100 bilateral meetings, working with national and international leaders and heads of businesses, ranging from fledgling entrepreneurs to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. She was formerly at the White House under President Obama in the Office of Management and Administration, where she helped run and manage the White House Internship Program.

Ms. Papakostandini received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and graduated with a Joint Honors degree in Political Science and Sociology from McGill University.
