Patrick Shaffer

Patrick is a computational scientist and software engineer. He has a PhD in theoretical/ computational chemistry from UC Berkeley and he was a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich, where he performed research on enhanced sampling algorithms for biomolecular simulations. He provides support to our portfolio on a variety of computational initiatives, from materials science and drug discovery to manufacturing optimization. Currently he supports Nirrin Technologies, NTX Bio and Gelsight.
