Lee Hsieh

Head, Asia Pacific Business Development

Lee Hsieh is a resourceful cross-border business development executive and investor, with years of hands-on startup operations, direct investment, and corporate advisory experiences across US and Asia, including throughout Greater China and Japan. He leads Anzu Partners’ efforts to explore and establish high-impact strategic partnerships for its portfolio companies with an emphasis on the APAC region.

Prior to joining Anzu, Lee has been making early-stage investing in areas such as advanced sensor technologies, IOT and industrial automation, most recently with the Venture Capital arm of Chinese conglomerate – Fosun Group.

He has been serving on the Board of startups, guiding companies on Partnership building and GTM strategies. He had also ran Business Development and Corporate Strategy himself at a Softbank Group-backed IOT startup – Neurosky. He spent the earlier part of his career as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and Nomura, advising major high-tech companies on M&A and capital raising.

Lee obtained his MBA from The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, and BS in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan.
