Greg Pope is an impact-oriented business leader and investor in industrial, cleantech, and energy technologies. As a Principal at Anzu Partners, Greg leads Anzu’s sourcing and investments in energy-focused and sustainable industrial technologies; carbon capture, sequestration, and utilization; and additive manufacturing. He also provides support on business development and growth topics across Anzu’s portfolio companies.
Previously, Greg was an Investment Fellow at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, one of the world’s top cleantech incubators. Prior to that role, Greg was as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group, where he led much of the firm’s power and renewables business on the west coast. Greg has executed engagements with senior executives at utilities, renewables developers, traditional energy companies, and private equity firms, in corporate strategy, business unit transformation, new business development, market expansion, and innovation.
Greg holds MSc degrees in energy and environmental economics from Oxford University and University College London, where he studied as a Marshall Scholar, and a BA in economics from Georgetown University.
