As a Senior Associate at Anzu, Gray leads Anzu’s diligence and investments in early-stage software companies, as well as diligence, transaction structuring and post-transaction integration for mergers, acquisitions, take privates and other specialized deals. Gray provides hands-on support for Anzu’s software portfolio on go-to-market strategy, sales strategy, pricing, M&A, non-dilutive financing, corporate governance, and other growth topics. Gray is a member of Slyce’s Board of Directors and a Board Observer at Lightship Works and MultiMechanics.
Gray was previously Director of Global Deal Sourcing at Village Capital, an organization that makes ~20 seed-stage investments per year in Healthcare, FinTech, AgTech, Energy and EdTech startups based in the United States, India, Mexico and Kenya. In that role, she managed a team across 5 countries, analyzed strategic investment opportunities in Village Capital’s target verticals and geographies, and designed and systemized internal sourcing, vetting and selection processes. Prior, Gray launched Village Capital’s Agricultural Technology and Energy accelerator, through which she identified, helped select and supported ~12 early-stage technology companies. The accelerator remains active and has led to some of Village Capital’s most successful investments to date.
Gray holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Davidson College.
