Beverly Himes

Beverly (Bev) Himes is Vice President, Finance and Government Accounting for Anzu Partners.  She provides expertise and support for our portfolio companies, taking the lead on government contract accounting and compliance, GAAP accounting, and financial reporting. 

She possesses a mix of public accounting, private sector industry and consulting experience holding Director and Controllership positions within diverse industries including government contracting, manufacturing, professional services, aerospace, printing/packaging, healthcare, and technology. Her expertise includes operational and technical accounting, finance transformation, system implementation and optimization, process design and re-engineering, corporate governance, profitability, working capital and cashflow management, regulatory compliance, financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, and staff training and development.

Her government contracting experience is within both cost-plus and fixed price environments. As a result, her expertise includes incurred cost and forward pricing rate submissions, compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and cost accounting standards (CAS), and defense contract audit agency (DCAA) audit facilitation in both an accounting and pricing capacity.

Bev holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, a Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg and an active license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) issued by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
