Wendy Papakostandini is Principal, Talent, where she partners closely with portfolio companies to build and scale high performing teams. She works with executive teams to identify and secure key talent, from individual contributors to Board-level executives, ensuring companies have the expertise and resources needed to drive effective growth.

Before joining Anzu, Wendy served as Special Advisor at the Department of Commerce, where she managed front office operations for the Deputy Secretary, including coordinating across 12 bureaus and managing briefing materials for daily engagements related to manufacturing, trade, innovation, big data, and privacy. She orchestrated international visits and trade missions, managing bilateral meetings and working with national and international leaders and heads of businesses. Prior to her time at the Department of Commerce, she served in the White House under President Obama in the Office of Management and Administration.

She is also co-author of the Talent section of the Annual Battery Report with the Volta Foundation. The Battery Report is the most widely-read battery industry report and has been helping the community understand the state of this fast-moving industry since 2020.

Wendy holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and graduated with a Joint Honors degree in Political Science and Sociology from McGill University.
